Over 5000 Attendees and 67 Animals Find Loving Homes
The vibrant city of Mumbai embraced the spirit of compassion and love for animals as World For All, a dedicated animal welfare organization, triumphantly concluded its 11th Adoptathon on December 9th and 10th. Nestled within the grounds of St Theresa Boy’s High School in Bandra West, this two-day event witnessed an incredible turnout of 5,000 attendees and the heartwarming adoption of 67 animals into caring households.
Celebrities, Activists, and Animal Lovers Unite for a Noble Cause
The event became a star-studded affair with esteemed personalities from Bollywood and passionate animal activists rallying in support. Notable figures such as Soha Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Tara Sutaria, Karishma Tanna, and an array of others graced the occasion, lending their voices and influence to advocate for the cause. Sharmila Tagore herself extended her support by adopting two adorable puppies, adding to her furry family in Pataudi, while actress Rupali Ganguly welcomed a sweet pup named Hope into her home.

Setting a precedent, World For All not only facilitated adoptions but also provided a platform for individuals, NGOs, rescuers, and societies to register rescued animals for potential adoption. The organization went beyond mere placements, conducting comprehensive interviews with potential adopters and offering guidance sessions with certified veterinarians, trainers, and behaviorists. Ensuring a seamless transition, World For All committed to post-adoption house-checks and regular follow-ups to guarantee the well-being of the animals in their new homes.
