India’s only Sibling Entrepreneurs

As they say, it runs in the family and I say a few things run, jump and swim in the family. The entrepreneur gene, zeal to succeed, and conquer the world together! We made an amazing list of some of esteemed India’s only sibling entrepreneurs and their super successful journeys.

Siblings know each other in and out. Strengths, weaknesses, moods, and the comfort and advantage of having effortless team dynamics make it all work. The personal bond lays the foundation for a splendid professional relationship and a long successful journey. Without further ado, let’s dive into our exemplary stories.

Top on my list is the star duo – of Raghav Belavadi and Vijaya Belavadi. They started Hype – a luxury car rental service to rule the wild and not so explored luxury market. Hype is India’s biggest luxury car rental company and it is spread across 23 cities.

Two bright brothers believed in the power of Ayurveda and decided to spread the magical Indian medical power to one and all. Vishal started Upakarma Ayurveda with his younger brother Parag Kaushik.

Next in line is sweet news! We mean quite literally as these sweet siblings – Jash and Pashmi Shah started the premium brand Get-A-Whey. The brand is into manufacturing and selling protein ice creams.

Here comes the fashion alert as we are going to spill beans about a really cool design house called SUTA started by really cool sisters – Sujata and Taniya. The sassy sisters tie up with weavers from Bengal and touch millions of lives with their handmade products like sarees, accessories, home decor, etc…

Another successful establishment is Girnarsoft started by brothers Anurag Jain and Amit Jain. The business came from a little dream of starting something big in their hometown Jaipur. Girna software runs CarDekho, BikeDekho, and Price Dekho.

This is an interesting tale of entrepreneurs supporting an entire entrepreneurial community. BeUnic – a community-driven queer-owned platform. The objective of the start-up is to support LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs who can host and promote their products online. BeUnic hosts products from home decor to footwear. They also believe in making available queer community jobs with queer-friendly organizations.

Now one for the food street! Three brothers who were very passionate about starting a food joint for the youth, children, and adults interestingly started 3 restaurants in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi – TEO Lounge and Bar, The Dineroom, and Cartoony Planet. As there is a lot of competition in this space, they made their restaurants unique with the longest bar and biggest lounge space and rooftop.

India’s most popular footwear brand Inc5 was started by Almas Nanda with her brother Amin. They started this beautiful journey in a 100 sq ft store and now the charm is swinging over 54 stores across the country.

Then we have three powerful sisters who have taken up the oath to style every woman in the country. Prachi Gupta, Tanvi Gupta, and Vanshika Gupta started The Mad Dresser – an online personal styling service for women. The core idea of their business is to study their customers’ profiles in-depth and deliver clothing as per their wants.

This list will go on and on as there are so many talented and successful Indian sibling entrepreneurs out there. We hope it has motivated you enough to start something exciting on your own with your sibling!
