The 21st edition of the IAAPI Annual Meet & Training – AMTP reached a triumphant conclusion, recording an impressive attendance of 164 delegates hailing from 74 companies nationwide. The landmark event, which took place, marked the first instance of IAAPI’s flagship conference being hosted in Indore, the dynamic financial hub at central India’s heart. This vibrant and pristine city set the stage for an event that captured the essence of the amusement industry.
Graced by the support of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, serving as the Host State and a pivotal partner in the trade show, AMTP 2023 stood as a testament to the collaborative spirit that drives progress within the industry.
Inaugurating the event, Mr. Shrikant Goenka, Chairman of IAAPI, whose dedication and foresight have paved the way for this grand spectacle, highlighted this year’s resonating theme, “Explosive Growth.” He emphasised that this growth is not just a conceptual aspiration but an unfolding reality. With the industry poised for expansion and global recognition, renowned experts forecast a promising double-digit Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) between 2023 and 2027.
AMTP’s robust agenda encompassed key sessions focused on harnessing the potential of Industry 4.0, enhancing consumer experiences through insights, delving into the realms of digitization and artificial intelligence, strategic marketing, efficient cost management, cyber security, and the symbiotic collaboration between IP holders and amusement parks through partnerships. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board also unveiled investment opportunities within the state’s flourishing amusement and attractions sector.
The event offered an invaluable platform for delegates to engage with industry peers, experts, and luminaries, fostering an in-depth understanding of current business trends. The enlightening panel discussion centred around the IAC sector provided a profound learning experience for all attendees.
Enriching the learning and knowledge-sharing experience, AMTP arranged a park visit for delegates to Simcha Island Resort and Adventure Park, alongside The Grand Machal.
