Kolkata, 7th September 2024: The Executive Palace Complex on VIP Road, Baguiati, has made a grand statement this Ganesh Chaturthi by unveiling a 13-feet replica of Adiyogi. The striking statue has become the centerpiece of the six-day celebration, honoring the spiritual connection between Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha.
A Spiritual Symbol for the Festivities
The installation of the Adiyogi replica symbolizes a deep integration of tradition and spirituality, emphasizing the profound teachings of Hindu philosophy. The father-son relationship between Adiyogi (Lord Shiva) and Lord Ganesha serves as a powerful reminder of wisdom, consciousness, and new beginnings, aligning the celebration with deeper spiritual meanings.
Six Days of Celebrations and Community Spirit
Ankit Agarwal, Secretary of the Executive Palace Complex, shared, “This year’s Ganesh Chaturthi is dedicated to the divine bond between Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Adiyogi. Our six-day celebration will culminate in a grand Hawan, followed by Visarjan, where all residents will participate. We will also be distributing bhog to more than 3,000 people outside the complex premises.”
