Dipankana Das, a rising star in Indian entertainment, is set to make her acting debut in the much-anticipated Campus Beats Season 4. Known for her captivating performances in Ek Rosy Ki Dastan – Bijli and Talab in 2023, the 19-year-old from Kolkata brings her raw talent and undeniable charisma to the screen.
A former national finalist in Glamanand Supermodel India 2022, Dipankana’s journey from the ramp to the screen has been nothing short of inspiring. In Campus Beats Season 4, she takes on the role of Pakhi, a spirited young girl from the slums with a passion for dance. Chosen by Ishaan, played by Shantanu Maheshwari, Pakhi’s story is one of determination and resilience as she earns a place at the prestigious MAD(Movement and Dance University). Along the way, she navigates love, friendships, and fierce competition, making her journey a heartwarming tale of grit and ambition.
Speaking about her role, Dipankana says, “Pakhi is more than just a character; she symbolizes hope and resilience. Being chosen by Ishaan (Shantanu Maheshwari) for the troupe was a turning point in her story, and playing her was equally transformative for me. As a trained Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer, adapting to Hip-Hop was challenging. I was initially hesitant to ask for help, but Shantanu made it easier for me. I remember one evening during rehearsals when he started a conversation about our shared roots in Kolkata. That connection helped me open up, bond with the cast, and build a fun and supportive rapport with Shantanu both on and off-screen.”
Campus Beats, streaming on Amazon Mini TV from November 20, blends music, drama, and dance to create a vibrant portrayal of campus life filled with relatable struggles and heartfelt moments. With Dipankana’s fresh energy alongside stars like Shantanu Maheshwari, Shruti Sinha, and Manasvi Vashisht, the show promises high-energy performances and gripping storylines to leave viewers spellbound.
