Pratik, your journey in real estate has been remarkable. Could you share more about your involvement with Sainath Developers and how it began?
Pratik Kataria: Absolutely. Sainath Developers has been an intrinsic part of my life, a family venture initiated by my father, Mr. Kanaiya D. Kataria, in 1986. Alongside my brother, Kunal, I’ve dedicated myself to cultivating and expanding this legacy of trust and excellence in real estate.
Beyond real estate, you’ve ventured into diverse sectors. How do these ventures align with your vision?
Pratik Kataria: I believe in exploring various avenues, from being an active committee member at NAREDCO Maharashtra to angel investing in startups. Each venture offers unique insights and contributes to my holistic understanding of business dynamics.
Your involvement with NAREDCO Maharashtra showcases your commitment to shaping real estate policies. Could you elaborate on your roles within the council?
Pratik Kataria: My journey in NAREDCO has been enriching, serving in roles such as President of the NextGen Committee, Secretary, and President-Elect at NextGen, NAREDCO Maharashtra. These roles allowed me to influence policies and practices in the real estate domain, aiming for industry growth and innovation.
The Laughter Chapter Café is another intriguing aspect of your ventures. What inspired this endeavor?
Pratik Kataria: The café was born from a vision to provide value-driven culinary experiences to the youth. Its success over seven years has been immensely gratifying, and we’re now looking at expanding its footprint across multiple locations.
Your educational background is impressive. How do you think your academic journey has contributed to your multifaceted skill set?
Pratik Kataria: Both my post-graduate diploma in management from FLAME School of Business, Pune, and my Master’s in Commerce specializing in Entrepreneurship from Mumbai University have been instrumental. They provided me with diverse perspectives and practical experiences, especially my stint at FLAME, where I delved into on-campus entrepreneurship.
Your recent adventure to the basecamp of Mount Everest sounds fascinating. How do such experiences influence your outlook on life and business?
Pratik Kataria: Adventures like these instill a sense of resilience and perspective. They remind me of the importance of pushing boundaries and embracing challenges, traits that transcend into both personal and professional aspects of life.
Your commitment to societal causes, particularly empowering girls through education, is inspiring. Can you shed light on your initiative, ‘Ecstatic Circles’?
Pratik Kataria: ‘Ecstatic Circles’ focuses on uplifting girl child education. I firmly believe educating women is pivotal for societal empowerment, and this initiative aims to contribute to that cause, envisioning transformative change through education.
What drives your multifaceted leadership style, blending entrepreneurship, societal commitment, and adventurous pursuits?
